Leitz – Sauvignon Blanc

10,49

The Zero Point Five Sauvignon Blanc is the newest addition to the Eins Zwei Zero / Zero Point Five range and the first Leitz wine made with the aroma‑recovery system. In this method, the first 5% of alcohol released during dealcoholization, where most of the wine’s aromas are concentrated, is collected separately. Once the wine is fully dealcoholized, this aromatic fraction is added back and undergoes a second dealcoholization, preserving around 90% of the original aromas. Because the process cannot reach a true 0.0%, the wine contains about 0.3% alcohol and carries the name Zero Point Five.
The result is a vibrant, varietally pure Sauvignon Blanc with notes of gooseberry, green pepper, fresh grass, green citrus, tropical fruit, and crisp apple, supported by a subtle minerality and a long, refreshing finish. Thanks to ongoing improvements in both base‑wine quality and dealcoholization, it is now nearly indistinguishable from a refined alcoholic Sauvignon Blanc. Ideal with salads, seafood, or simply as a refreshing glass on warm days.
Awarded 95 points and a gold medal at the International Non‑Alcoholic Competition.
