Founded in Sweden by Erika Eklundh, Gnista was born from a simple but radical idea: alcohol‑free drinks should have the same depth, attitude, and emotional impact as the real thing.
Erika spent years immersed in the non‑alcoholic category and quickly saw a gap. Early “alcohol‑free spirits” were light, botanical, and designed for the health‑focused crowd. Nice, but not enough. The people who truly care about flavour -cocktail lovers, adventurous palates, and bartenders who treat drinks like art – were left wanting more. They didn’t need a substitute. They deserved something with presence.
Gnista spirits are dark, intense, and unapologetically complex. They’re engineered to stand up in cocktails, delivering bite, structure, tannins, smoke, spice, and body – all without alcohol. Instead of removing alcohol from an existing drink, Gnista builds each liquid from the ground up using a blend of modern food‑tech, gastronomy, distillation, brewing, and barrel ageing. Every ingredient is chosen with purpose. Every bottle is designed to create a true cocktail experience, not a compromise.
