Leitz – Chardonnay

The Eins-Zwei-Zero Chardonnay offers a fresh and very appealing Chardonnay experience with notes of lime and citrus fruits; subtle hints of gooseberry are easily discernible. The acidity is not comparable to that of the Eins-Zwei-Zero Riesling. The blend consists of high-quality wines from the Palatinate region and displays a dry finish and a relatively long aftertaste.
The alcohol is extracted by means of vacuum column distillation. During this process the alcohol is extracted at a temperature of 29 degrees. Due to this low heating almost no taste is lost. An alcohol‑free wine will never fully match the depth and structure of a traditional wine, yet this one comes remarkably close. It’s a rare example of a non‑alcoholic wine that genuinely tastes like wine. Truly impressive.
